Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address and distribute approximately 71,000 appointment letters to individuals joining various government departments during a virtual event on Tuesday. According to an official statement, the ‘Rozgar Mela’ will be conducted simultaneously at 45 locations across the country, facilitating recruitments in central government departments, state governments, and Union Territories supporting this initiative.
The new recruits, who have been selected from different parts of the country, will assume positions such as gramin dak sevaks, inspector of posts, commercial-cum-ticket clerk, junior clerk-cum-typist, junior accounts clerk, track maintainer, assistant section officer, lower division clerk, sub-divisional officer, and tax assistants, among others.
This employment drive, known as the ‘Rozgar Mela,’ reflects the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to prioritize job creation. The initiative is expected to serve as a catalyst for further employment opportunities, empowering the youth and fostering their active participation in the nation’s development.
In addition, the newly appointed individuals will have the opportunity to enhance their skills through the Karmayogi Prarambh program. This online orientation course is designed to train and equip all new appointees in various government departments, facilitating their smooth integration into their respective roles.
